For Christians, Sunday is the Sabbath.
What can we say about this? A lot of people get hung up on the "Judge not lest ye be judged" not realizing what that phrase truly means.
It is true that we will, in the end be judged by God with the measure that we have judged others. So how can we know if someone is a good person or a bad person? The guideline is you can never, ever judge a persons heart. Only God is able to do that but we must judge someones actions. If we never did this we could set up ourselves for some serious consequences. For example, if I knew someone who was a thief and still allowed them into my home should I be surprised when they steal from me? This is the kind of judgement I am speaking of here but, even though this person may be a thief, what is in his or her heart? That is not for me to judge, only the Lord can do that.
We must remember though, before we pass judgement on others and let's face it, we all do it, every day. Some more than others and a lot of times for the most ridiculous things, we must look at our own selves and our own behavior before we begin to throw stones at anyone else. I would guarantee the majority of us would drop those stones pretty quickly.
Have a blessed Sunday everyone and remember, Keep the Sabbath Holy. No servile work. Only that which is absolutely necessary.
