My Favorite Palette ! Beauty Product Review

Today I wanted to share something a little different than my usual posts...

Let's talk about makeup shall we? I used to be heavily into makeup and then.... the plandemic hit and my love for makeup has kind of worn off. Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I am just not as crazy over it as I once was but, every once in a while a beautiful eye shadow pallet will come across my view and I'm hooked.

That's what happened with this gorgeous palette by TooFaced cosmetics. I have always like eye shadows by Too Faced. I find them to be creamy, highly pigmented and incredibly easy to blend out and this one did not disappoint! There can be a little bit of fallout but that happens with almost every powder shadow and if the quality is good enough I can ignore that.

Can we just talk about that packaging for a moment? Its made from a heavy plastic and what feels like a metal frame. The art work on the front of the palette is beautiful and so delicate and would you look at that little puffed heart closure... Yes, I'm a sucker for good packaging and this one has it all....

The shadow colors themselves are simply gorgeous! It has four mattes and five shimmers.
The matte colors are :
Cashmere Bunny
Strip Poker
The shimmers are :
Silk Teddy
Push Up
Honey Pot
Chocolate Martini

No, I'm not a big fan of the names of some of the shadows but I can overlook that because of the quality and simplicity of this palette.

There is everything you need to make an everyday eye look from the simplest look to a deep smokey eye for evening if that's what you choose. You simply can not go wrong with this palette.

  1. That is beautifully packages. I would almost hate to use the shadow because of the lovely art work on each square. With my coloring, I usually used light shades of green. Wonder if they have it. Will have to check it out. The eyebrow pencil I use is down to the nub. It's from LancĂ´me, and I the mall is closed, and I don't want to order on line one pencil. So I'll wait. The only people I see are my family and the grocery clerk. I tease and say I've kept Revlon is business as I've been wearing their #750 coral lip stick for years and years.

    1. Hi Wanda...
LOl We think alike. When I first opened it up I thought, good gosh this is too pretty to even use!...But I had too. The colors are just so gorgeous.. I hear you about not seeing many people. Everything here in SC is open including the Mall but I don't even go to the Mall when we don't have a pandemic. I will go to Ulta though because their store while at the mall is not IN the mall but for the most part I go to Walgreens. And yes I love Revlon lipsticks as well!.

  2. I love all of these colors. I always prefer naturals colors like this. Sometimes I like shimmer sometimes I like Matte so this is the perfect pallet. Now if I just knew how to do good eye make up.

    1. Hi Lisa,
I'm a neutrals girl too. I only use the shimmers on my eye lids. Never in my crease or above my crease.. At 50 they just show all the lines and wrinkles. LOL... YouTube has amazing tutorials on how to do eye looks. Just use the search and type in something like everyday eye shadow look, or eye shadow tutorial.. Good luck! :)

  3. What beautiful colors! My days of makeup are long gone. In the days when I did wear it, I mostly just used a bit of eye shadow and maybe some lipstick. I worked hard for my wrinkles so I just let them be. (I really don't have a choice) haha. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

    1. Hi Edna... I don't wear anywhere near as much make up as I did .. I noticed since getting older less is more looks much better on me...As for my wrinkles I now have, I don't particularly like them but on the other hand I look at them as milestones and there are so many that these milestones were denied like my mom and dad.. So I am thankful XO

  4. This is a beautiful pallet. I have used Too Face for a few years now. I started with their Chocolate Pallet. They really make a good product. Thanks for sharing. Love ya, DD

    1. Hi Desiree...
Oh I had the chocolate palette too.. I've tried many eye shadows from very very low end to really ridiculously high end and something about the formula Too Faced uses is just super great!! XOXO
