Hello! Life Updates !

Well! Hello friends and family! I know it's been a LONG time since I've put up a post. Today I am here to say hello, give you some updates and tell you I am am back to blogging!

Gosh I have't posted since January. Time sure does fly when you aren't looking. So where have I been? Pretty much everywhere and no where. We have been doing a lot of work around our home. Nothing major just gathering supplies, cleaning things out, re-painting a room or two, redecorating. Then there is always illness that comes into play. For us anyway.

I was down for quite a while with a massive tooth infection that spread to another tooth and that took me out for a little over a month. Then there's always life that has it's demands. Then there is extended family and friends and before you know it you're just living life not thinking about anything in the virtual world atleast, I wasn't.

I had also moved my laptop out of my bedroom because months and months ago I had gotten a tablet and spend most of my time if I"m online on there. I am a night writer. When the house is semi quiet and all the dogs are resting is when my brain kicks into gear to write but I don't have my laptop with me and it's a little bit of a pain in the butt to set it up again in the bedroom so I would come up with these things to write and then they'd be gone.

Today I pulled out a very old eleven inch laptop which still works albeit it's slow as the day is long but it's small, compact and easily accessible for me to use at night when I am in bed. So I just got done setting it all up and will be back to blogging, hopefully a few times a week maybe even daily. We'll have to see how that works out. And, I know 'they' whoever 'they' are tell you not to have computers in the bedroom but my answer to that is, what works for some doesn't work for everyone and I am perfectly comfortable having my small laptop and tablet in the bedroom.

It's warming up here in South Carolina and pollen season officially hit a few weeks ago and boy do my sinuses know it. So many people are suffering here this year. It seems this year is really bad for pollen and dragon flies. My allergies have already been putting me down for days at a time here and there. This may be the year that forces me to go to the allergist and get a shot.

I"m also still dealing with shifting into menopause. Eight months without a cycle and counting. The hot flashes are constant around the clock and horrendous so sleep has not been easy in months that's another reason I haven't been around. I feel like I am perpetually tired. I'm usually tired due to my RA etc but I can almost always push through that each day, this menopause stuff is a whole different beast and I wish I still had my mom here....

So thats really where I"ve been. Everywhere and no where. I am going to try and take some time each day to read your blogs again because there are some that I just love reading every day and now that I have the small laptop up and running again I will be able to read and comment but it probably won't be until night time.

So please tell me, how are all of you? What are you up too? How is the weather by you? Do you  have pollen storms like we do here?

Talk to you soon.

God bless you!

  1. Good morning. Nice to read your blog and see what's going on in your neck of the woods! Ouch, sorry about your tooth infection. Hope it's all better now. Life is so full of changes. Been studying in I Peter..suffering is part of our Christian walk...I pray for grace and mercy as you suffer through the physical changes that are going on in your body, and the Lord will give you a extra measure of strength. His mercies are new every moring. Hope you have a most excellent day. Hugs.

    1. hi Wanda,
Thank you for the prayers. I long ago accepted my physical suffering and offer it to God but sometimes, it gets heavy to hold up..

  2. Nice to see you back in blogland. Hopefully, with the Spring here now, you'll be feeling so much better. As for the laptop and tablet in the bedroom? I think whatever feels best for you is the right thing to do. I keep mine handy even when I'm in bed too. Enjoy your day, hugs, Edna B.

  3. Glad you are back blogging. I think you should blog where you are comfortable and it's most enjoyable for you.

  4. Hi Robyn. Hang in there. Life is full of surprises.

  5. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC ( in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.

Please leave your comments, I love hearing from you! :)
